I’m Yvette, a 25 year old photographer and creative. I hope you had a visually good time on my wesbite. I’ll tell you a bit more about me. I’ve been a freelance photographer for 6 years and naturally rolled into it because my dad is a professional photographer as well. I grew up surrounded by camera’s, expositions, photo books and experimenting in our studio with shooting and developing photos. Today I am still having as much fun with photography as then. It’s my dream job and even more then a job, it’s my passion. When I don’t have my camera I still look at life through a lens. Finding those creative angles, perfect light and photogenic moments.
I’m a bit of a digital photography nomad. After graduating I worked and lived abroad in Singapore, Bali and Australia but just got back to beautiful Europe. Photography has brought me to amazing places over the world and allowed me to meet many interesting people. From shooting for Adidas and Nescafé in Berlin to sailing across the Mediterranean shooting for the Yachtweek. Shooting and staying in villas in Bali and California to shooting for Ikea in Singapore. I love to capture people and sceneries in a different, spontaneous way.
I studied at the art academy Willem de Kooning Academy where I studied Advertising and took on photography lessons. I also work for video production companies where I focus on concepting, script writing and directing.
In 2017 I graduated cum laude from the Willem de Kooning Academy and am now a fulltime photographer. Every workday for me is doing what I love and that doesn't feel like working at all.
